Core Sampling and Testing Services

We have our own UKAS accredited testing Laboratory No. 8347 recognised internationally.

LMS are the management and technical specialist division of PN Daly Ltd – We have been established since 1966 and are a nationwide Highway Authority, Utilities and Multi Utility consultant and contractor. We specialise in utility street works core sampling, inspection and testing. We have our own UKAS accredited testing Laboratory No. 8347 to independently carry out reinstatement core testing and analysis.

Our LMS division was formed to supply technical and consultancy services relating to the requirements of legislation or specification associated with the works undertaken in the highway. We also provide a laboratory testing service for bituminous samples and Dynamic Cone Penetrometer testing. 

We have completed over half a million core extractions and testing samples ranging from 50mm to 450mm in diameter, from different road classifications and all requiring different levels of traffic management.

Close liaison between the Local Authority and LMS to develop the best method of working to achieve their goal with regard to finish of the ground after coring and the suitability of the open holes for accessing the ducting for the electrical work to take place.
